Chief Executive Officer Commissions Hospital Projects
The CEO on Thursday, June13th, 2019 commissioned the recently installed LPG bulk storage tank and piping system at MTRH’s Private Wing II- Memorial and renovation works at the Shoe4Africa Children Hospital.
The new cooking system which was installed and is already in use at the Memorial Kitchen will cut down on deforestation through use of firewood to prepare meals for the Hospital patients. It will also provide a conducive working environment for the staff.
As it is the case in most developing countries the use of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) as a source of fuel mainly for cooking in homes and premises is meant to replace charcoal and firewood. This way, the action to save the planet from green gas effects is easily achievable.
