{"id":102,"date":"2023-11-20T16:57:00","date_gmt":"2023-11-20T13:57:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mtrh.go.ke\/?p=102"},"modified":"2023-12-06T12:41:40","modified_gmt":"2023-12-06T09:41:40","slug":"mtrh-marks-world-day-of-remembrance-for-road-crash-victims","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mtrh.go.ke\/?p=102","title":{"rendered":"MTRH marks World Day of Remembrance for Road Crash victims"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"xdj266r x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">MTRH together with other stakeholders led by NTSA, joined the rest of the world in marking the World Day of Remembrance for Road Crash victims on Sunday, 19th November 2023. The day is observed every third Sunday of November every year to remember the people who have lost their lives through road accidents. It is also a day to appreciate the first responders at accidents scenes and health care workers handling crash victims. Most importantly, it is a day to advocate for road safety on our roads to reduce road crashes and resultant injuries and deaths.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">The participants started the walk at MTRH Chandaria building and proceeded to the Emergency Department to light candles in remembrance of road traffic victims. Thereafter, the members took road safety campaign messages through Eldoret CBD and concluded with speeches at NTSA Regional Office in Eldoret.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">MTRH, through the support of the CEO Dr. Wilson K.
