{"id":1303,"date":"2024-05-10T13:29:14","date_gmt":"2024-05-10T10:29:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mtrh.go.ke\/?p=1303"},"modified":"2024-05-10T13:34:16","modified_gmt":"2024-05-10T10:34:16","slug":"mtrh-joins-the-nation-in-tree-planting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mtrh.go.ke\/?p=1303","title":{"rendered":"MTRH Joins the Nation in Tree Planting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital ( MTRH) joins the nation in remembering those adversely affected by the ongoing floods across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The day is being observed through National Tree Growing to mitigate the effects of climate change &amp; improving lives and livelihoods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tree Growing exercise at Elgeyo Marakwet County is being led by the Principal Secretaries; Chris Kiptoo (National Treasury) and Harry Kimtai (Health) joined by the Governor-H.E. Wisley Rotich, Senator- William Kisang and area MP-Gideon Kimaiyo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MTRH Team &#8211; led by Ag. CEO Dr. Philip Kirwa &#8211; is currently planting trees at Kimwogo Forest, Elgeyo Marakwet County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped
