In marking the event, MTRH Hematology Unit supported by Red Cross, and Moi University College of Health Sciences conducted a Blood Donation Drive at Memorial Grounds to create awareness of the disorder and scale up blood and blood products supply in the Hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking at the event on behalf of MTRH Chief Executive Officer Dr. Philip Kirwa, Senior Director Clinical Services (SDCS) Dr. Owen Menach called for re-doubling of efforts in blood drives to save many lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This year’s blood drive target staff working at MTRH, Moi University, AMPATH, Kenya Medical Training College and members of the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
