MTRH Directorate of Laboratory & Pathology Services has successfully attained its 3rd-cycle Re-Accreditation to ISO 15189:2022 by the Kenya Accreditation Service (KENAS) following a rigorous four-day assessment conducted from June, 23rd- 26th 2026.

\u200eThe recommendation is for 100% of the scope applied that includes; Haematology, Chemistry, Immunology, Parasitology, Bacteriology, Mycobacteriology, Blood Transfusion and Histopathology.

\u200eThis achievement reaffirms Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital’s commitment to delivering accurate, reliable, timely, and internationally recognized laboratory services.

\u200eSince earning its first KENAS accreditation in 2018, the Directorate has consistently sustained the highest standards of quality, technical competence, patient safety, and continual improvement in line with global best practices.
