{"id":9122,"date":"2026-10-22T18:52:03","date_gmt":"2026-10-22T15:52:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mtrh.go.ke\/?p=9122"},"modified":"2026-10-22T19:33:21","modified_gmt":"2026-10-22T16:33:21","slug":"9122","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mtrh.go.ke\/?p=9122","title":{"rendered":"MTRH UPDATE ON PRECAUTIONARY EBOLA MONITORING"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) wishes to inform the public that one person is undergoing precautionary monitoring following reported contact with a suspected Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) case 20 days ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The individual remains asymptomatic and has tested negative for EVD. Monitoring continues in line with Ministry of Health and World Health Organization protocols until completion of the 21-day observation period. Identified contacts have been appropriately followed up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">MTRH continues to strengthen surveillance, infection prevention and control, and staff preparedness in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and other stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All Hospital services continue uninterrupted.
