MTRH College of Medicine (MTRH-CoM) Holds 14th Graduation Ceremony

Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) College of Medicine held its 14th graduation ceremony, with former CEO Dr. John Kibosia gracing the event as the Chief Guest.

The ceremony marked a significant milestone for the graduands, who received Diplomas and Certificates across various healthcare disciplines.

In his address, Dr. Kibosia commended the graduands for their dedication and encouraged them to uphold excellence as they enter the dynamic and fast-evolving medical profession.

He congratulated the new healthcare professionals and highlighted their important role in strengthening Kenya’s health sector.

MTRH Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Philip Kirwa, applauded the 293 graduands for their hard work and commitment, noting that their achievements reflect the steady growth of the College. He shared that MTRH-CoM has expanded tremendously—from a small room with about 40 students to a thriving institution hosting an average of 1,000 students at any given time.

The College is expected to experience even greater growth with the development of a modern campus at the new, spacious MTRH site in Kiplombe, adjacent to the upcoming Multi-Specialty Hospital.

The event was attended by the Hospital Management Team and the MTRH College of Medicine fraternity, making it a memorable celebration of academic excellence and professional advancement.
