MTRH supports the Great Chepsaita Cross Country Run 2024

Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital(MTRH) has dispatched a multi-disciplinary medical team to support the 2024 Great Chepsaita Cross Country Run in Chepsaita- Turbo, Uasin Gishu County.

The event dubbed ‘Running for Education’ preceded by a free medical camp from 2nd December, 2024, culminating into the Cross Country Run today, graced by the Deputy President H.E. Prof. Kithure Kindiki, EGH.

MTRH CEO Dr. Philip Kirwa led the Hospital team comprising; clinicians, physiotherapists, nurses, nutritionists, and communications, among others, in covering the race that is taking place courtesy of its Patron Farouk Kibet.

Other Government officials participating in the race include the Head of Public Service, Cabinet Secretaries and Principal Secretaries, among other dignitaries.

More than ten medical institutions are offering emergency first aid services to the athletes.The race is categorised per age group and gender for seamless coordination.
