MTRH Welcomes New Board Member

Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital has welcomed Ms. Caroline Yegon, a newly appointed member of the Hospital Board, serving as the Alternate Attorney General.

Ms. Yegon joins the Board at a pivotal time as MTRH continues to strengthen specialized healthcare delivery, institutional performance, and strategic growth in Kenya’s health sector.

Welcoming her to the Hospital, MTRH Board Chairperson said her appointment brings valuable legal and governance expertise that will further strengthen the Board’s oversight role and support the Hospital’s strategic transformation agenda.

CEO Dr. Philip Kirwa noted that the Hospital looks forward to working closely with Ms. Yegon in advancing service excellence, innovation, and the successful implementation of key infrastructure projects, including the Julie Ann Perry Pediatric Oncology Hospital, the Harry J. Dyer Burns Centre, and the 2,000-bed Multi-Specialty MTRH in Kiplombe.
