INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (IMS) POLICY
Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) strives to be a global leader in the provision of
Exceptional Multi-Specialty Healthcare, Training and Research. In pursuit of this, the Hospital is
dedicated to providing specialized healthcare services, training and research through efficient,
excellent clinical and operational processes; and contribution to National Development.
The Board, Management and Staff of MTRH are committed to: –
i) Effective implementation and continual improvement of Integrated Management System;
ii) Conform to respective requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO/IEC 27001
and ISO 15189:2022 Standards;
iii) Providing safe and healthy work environment for prevention of work related injury and
ill health;
iv) Good professional practices and tests that are fit for intended use in the Laboratory;
v) Eliminate hazards and reduce Occupational Health and Safety Risks;
vi) Consultation and participation of workers and workers’ representatives;

Impartiality in day to day operations;
